Our next event, Ground for Hope Philadelphia, is a training event with workshops on topics as diverse as theology, reading sacred texts, scientific perspectives, environmental justice and advocacy, 'green' facilty management, religious education and worship, and more.

Yale Divinity School Creates Endowed Chair of Religion and Environmental Stewardship

After receiving a gift pledge of $3 million, Yale Divinity School/Berkeley Divinity School and the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies at Yale University has created the first chair of its kind in the United States. Yale Divinity School and the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies have been at the forefront of religious-environmental education and this marks another step in their leadership in the field.
