Green Seminary Initiative

Seminary Green Profiles is an exciting new project that collects, in one central location, information on efforts by theological schools to green their institutions. Included is general information about each school, as well as specific greening activities at that school in Education, Worship, Buildings and Grounds, Community Life and Public Ministry.

Here you will find a wealth of ideas and information on how to green your own theological school. For example, check out how Wesley Seminary has added local food to its refectory and has adopted a cage-free egg Policy. Or see all the things Drew Theological School is doing to recognize the theological and social justice components of ecological issues in its mission, its classes, and its practices.
