Buildings and Grounds

Green building practices:

The school has a green building policy.

The school meets LEED or other energy certification standards.

The school primarily uses high-efficiency windows and insulation in buildings.

The school uses green building materials in renovations and new building projects.

In lieu of grass lawns, the school uses a regionally appropriate ground cover that requires no watering.

Disposable water bottles, paper and/or Styrofoam cups and plates, and disposable eating utensiles are not used on campus.

The school purchases a significant portion of its food from local food providers such as farms and dairies.

The food service provider offers vegan and vegetarian options.
